Mr Lucas the new Assistant Apothecary having arrived and sufficient

time having elapsed

to test his

efficiency

in the performance of his duties I have to propose the

following arrangements

should be made.

That Mr Crow the Government Analyst and Apothecary's duties should be confined to the general

supervision of the Dispensing Department

new drugs

while at this work which

I have pointed out, in

may also cause serious

trouble from

accident

occurring in the performance of Analytical work much loss of time.

That Mr Lucas should with the Assistance of the Student Apothecaries do the Dispensing work of this Department receiving as I proposed $100 per month to be increased by instalments of $10 to $130 per month.
